Driving there for the first time felt a bit weird as you left the town behind and went into rural streets, but once you get there and do it once, everything just feels like home.PLANNING YOUR TRIP TO ARCHES NATIONAL PARKĭelicate Arch is the icon,* looping 65 feet out of an orange bluff according to its own invented axes, but every single hike in Arches National Park will show you something that changes your perspective: the metaphysics of Landscape Arch a Courthouse and a Tower of Babel on Park Avenue the lost souls in the Fiery Furnace. Welcome and walkthrough by Deanna was welcoming, informative and inviting to use the place as if it was that of a friend's. Communication with George was limited to texting but very effective. GREAT coffee, nice bakery and dairy (all home -made, including yogurt, granola, eggs), fresh fruit, and incredibly pleasant spots to eat it, either indoors, terrace, the water lilies pond, the barn. Not for a full, heavy breakfast for those who need omelettes and full-in cooking, but even though we use to take those, we didn't feel the need for that at all. And the other guests there seem to be of the same mindset, respectful and healthy. The room doesn't lack any amenity that high ranked hotels have, and of good quality (bed, windows, blinds, toiletries, rugs, space.), with the added value of everything being extremely oriented to environmentally sustainable practices without making it feel comfortless at all. The place is immaculate, quiet and has a very peaceful vibe. You won't be disappointed! …įeels like being at a friend's house. the sheep, the chickens, gardens and pond made me never want to leave. I was never hungry after his breakfasts made and served with love.

The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! The food that George prepares from the garden is organic, delicious, and plentiful. The rooms are sparkling clean, the furnishings are thoughtful and beautiful, there is plenty of space, great bathrooms and water pressure, organic toiletries, and the sheets are lovely. Everything you could possibly want or need is offered generously. George and everyone who worked there are beyond friendly and helpful hosts. It was the perfect natural setting to explore the surrounding areas. The property is serene and beautiful - a lush oasis just a few minutes away from Moab. I stayed twice and I would love to go back: once in the summer and once in the spring. The Red Moon Lodge is one of my favorite places on earth and I couldn't recommend it more highly. No smoking on the property and special diets are welcome! We constructed a Green house in 2017 and have dabbled in selling produce to our local Natural food store and Community. We have a "Yoga Barn" for Group Yoga, workshops, and private practice. We are a TripAdvisor Green leader, our practices are recycling, solar power, compost, conserve water, use eco-friendly products and maintain a conscious way of living to honor the earth. We are proud to strive to serve an entirely Organic Continental Breakfast with homemade items, teas and fair trade Coffee.
